About the FacPie
The FacPie logo originates from our math themed early release titles. Our first EP is called Tangent and our first album is called Sine Language. Tangent, got it's name from how every time we would have a conversation, or try to write lyrics the conversation ended up going off in tangents. Sine Language got it's name from how our first album felt like we found our voice. Our most efficient way of communicating our ideas and how we feel, through sine waves, coming out of a pair of speakers.
When we needed a logo to stick on posters we decided it should be somehow related to this math theme, how we ended up on Pie I'm not sure, probably had something to do with circles, or rather going in circles. We added a horizontal line to the first vertical line of the Pie symbol to create an F shape, and we imagine the second vertical line to for a T shape, coming together to form the initials of the first two syllables of Fac-To-Tem.
